…I went to De Doelen, the main concert hall in Rotterdam. Eliane Rodrigues gave a magnificent Chopin recital. You may remember her from the Queen Elizabeth Piano Competition where she was a laureate way back in 1983.
Marsyas Ensemble @ Lokhorstkerk
Went to a concert of the Marsyas Ensemble today at the Lokhorstkerk in Leiden.
There, I was pleasantly surprised to meet not only
my former piano teacher who leads the ensemble, but also a former high school math teacher, who turned out to play the clarinet in the ensemble! In addition, he had also founded his own software company which develops roster software.
Osiris Trio @ De Veste
Het was heerlijk om eindelijk weer naar een klassiek concert te gaan in ons lokale theatertje in Delft.
Het Osiris Trio speelde pianotrio’s van Beethoven en zijn tijdgenoten Hummel en Ries.
