Two days ago, I got an unexpected phone call from a friend, who asked if I was interested in a concert at De Doelen, Beethoven’s Fourth and Fifth symphony.
Before the interval, they played the Fourth, after that the Fifth.
I was impressed that the conductor knew all the score by heart.
